Hydraulic Rod Ends
Rod Ends
A hydraulic rod end is a standardized, ready-to-install machine element that is used to transmit static and dynamic forces in connection with swiveling, tilting and rotating movements.
This rod ends are used on hydraulic cylinders and are designed for particularly high forces.
The common variants include:
- Version with internal thread
- Internal thread slotted, clamping screws
- Internal thread slotted, clamping screws, connection dimensions according to DIN 24338
- Internal thread slotted, clamping screws, connection dimensions according to DIN 24555
- Circular welding end and centering pin, connection dimensions according to DIN ISO 12240-4
- Rectangular welding end
Hydraulic rod ends with internal thread are produced as standard, require maintenance and can be relubricated using the tapered lubrication nipple.
Hardened, ground and phosphated joint balls are used in housings made from forged tempered steel or weldable structural steel.
