KTR Systems GmbH was founded more than 60 years ago in Rheine, Germany. This is still the location of the company's production facility, where the first BowEx® toothed coupling rolled off the production line. A little later, the manufacturer introduced another modified model - the RotEx® coupling.
From that moment on, the active development of the manufacturer began. Production capacity increased, the volume of products manufactured grew, and the scientific and technical potential of the brand grew. The company actively entered the world and European markets and managed to take a leading position there.
The company's production lines are equipped with the most modern equipment, technological processes are refined to perfection and production control is an integral part of each stage of the process.
A wide range of clutches, disc components and braking systems are manufactured under the KTR brand. The company's product catalogue also includes all types of mechanical couplings, shaft mounting kits, hydraulic components, torque limiters, measuring systems and much more.
Today, the KTR product range comprises more than 20,000 items. Every year, several million clutches, ranging in weight from 5 grams to 2 tonnes, leave the company's production lines to work reliably under the most difficult conditions all over the world. KTR's product range covers a torque range from 0.1 to 750,000 Nm.
All KTR products are characterised by high quality, reliability and innovation and are certified according to DIN ISO EN 9001:2008 and meet the requirements of DIN ISO EN 14001:2009.
