ROX
An exceptionally robust spherical roller bearing
- featuring two patented Z-discs that provide effective protection against dust and dirt. A nitrided cage enhances resistance to impacts and harsh operating conditions. Designed with maintenance managers in mind, this bearing significantly reduces maintenance requirements and downtime while also being environmentally friendly.
ROX offers more than double the service life, requires over 50% less lubrication, and is fully ISO-compatible. It operates reliably between –40°C and +200°C and compensates for misalignment up to 2°. As such, it is considered the benchmark solution for dusty and extreme applications such as conveyor systems in quarries, cement plants, mining, and the paper industry.
Permaglide® P180
A lead-free, high-performance plain bearing material
- and an improved further development of P14. It offers lower coefficients of friction, high wear resistance, excellent dry-running properties and a very low tendency to stick-slip. P180 is extremely resilient, chemically resistant, erosion-resistant and largely resistant to swelling. The material outperforms both P14 and the lead-containing P10 in terms of pv value and can be used in applications where previously only lead-containing materials were possible.
P180 is universally applicable – dry, lubricated or hydrodynamic – and operates reliably in a temperature range from –200°C to +280°C. Typical applications include pumps, shock absorbers, compressors, actuators, valves, steering systems, seat adjusters, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The material meets legal requirements, is ISO-certified and offers a wide range of applications combined with high performance.
VAROLASTIC
A highly elastic coupling
- for construction and agricultural machinery, optimised for variable loads. It offers progressive torsional stiffness for improved vibration behaviour, heavy-duty elastomers for effective damping, and a low-wear, compact design for a long service life and easy integration.
The coupling is versatile, optionally available with anti-rotation protection and prepared for SAE connections. There are two versions: VAROLASTIC F and VAROLASTIC FD, both designed for torques of 0–6000 Nm.
